Hey! I've been meaning to reply to your comment for a while now but a lot has been going on around here. Its great to see that there are other families that are following the same path as ours. We are currently living in Pensacola, FL. Although it looks like we might be moving to Pennsylvania due to my husband's job. Which will be a huge change for myself. I have lived in Florida all my life and originally from the the Orlando area. So changes are happening but we are both looking forward to them. Anyway renovations are coming along. There's not much I can do by myself (at this point in my pregnancy), so our weeknights and weekdays are always filled with working on the RV. We have not run into any problems cutting any line that is important but my husband is an electrical technician so he usually knows what he is doing when it comes to wires. Most things are often put back to their original holes. There are definitely things we are learning along the way and Google seems to be our best friend when it comes to answering questions or getting schematics for the RV. Although there are times that we run things by my husband's brother. He used to fulltime in a 5th wheel. with his wife and their 2 dogs. Overall though there has been nothing that we could not figure out by ourselves. But I'm thank full to have such a handy husband. I would not want to do this by myself and I think he would agree that he wouldn't have done this without me either. We truly do make a great team. Please keep in touch. And of course I will continue to update the blog as we go along.
I read your blog at 1 am last night in the middle of nursing my daughter and thought "holy crap, this sounds like our story." You guys are just a few months ahead of us! So we are AP, breastfeeding, co-sleeping, cloth diapering, baby wearing, liberal, crunchy soon-to-be-full timing RVers. Our daughter's first birthday is this weekend and we keep saying "after her birthday, we are selling everything, but not until after her big party" I found your blog on technomadia.com(isn't that such a great resource)Anyways I would love to connect with you, ask questions, share ideas. You can connect with me at roadmaptonomad.com Hope to see some more posts soon and good luck on your adventures. If you don't mind, I would like to link your blog to mine.
Sorry I never responded to these messages ladies!!! I haven't seen them until today! It is SO nice to hear similar stories. We feel like we're the only ones out there sometimes! I would love to connect our pages. I've recently posted an update. Hope to hear from you both again soon. I'll come check out your pages too! Thank you!
